Ballarat

its summer, and im here with my rents in Ballarat, Vic Australia. ahhhh.

i went into town today and just sat in a little bakery and read my book. well its so peaceful and the christmas decoration are gorgeous.. love this town..

i like this town because it has a lot of history..

its known for its gold mining and the Eureka Stockade which was a significant event in Australia's history.

Sewing

YAY>>> today i bought a sewing machine and i thought it would be cool to try making some clothes.

I really want to go to the op shops in town and get designs and patterns for blouses, dresses and shorts for the summer.

im so excited!

Cubby Houses

Some cubby houses are wooden whilst others are made through collecting a combination of blankets, pillows plus anything usable in the house and putting it all together like a fortress.

Pretty cool, huh?

As a child my grandfather and I built a wooden cubby house together and it was just like a real house only smaller. 

I loved it!

I put one of those fake kitchens in it and just pretended like i was some house lady. hahha. fun times.

 

I also looked after a bunch of kids today and they thought it would be real fun to create a cubby using all the sheets and pillows off all the beds in the house.

It was the cutest thing ever watching them work together to create their ultimate hang out cubby.

Lost

Conformity and the social pressures of high school lay on the path i have left behind and indivuality lies before me on the road to life.
